Hey there you guys! Thanks for the comments regarding all my Rub n' Buff projects, and letting me know that you are venturing a try at it yourselves! Be sure to keep me posted on how things turn out. I would love to see what all of you have done with it. If you have a blog, be sure to leave me a link to your post in my comment box so I can check it out.
Ok, this is going to be a short post! Here is the Rub n' Buff on vinyl I mentioned at the end of my last post. But.. it's not vinyl, my bad! It's more like a faux leather, like a pleather. Here were the chairs before.
Then after a dose of Pearl Blue Rub n' Buff (applied with a cloth)
Crazy right?! Looks like a brand new chair.
Have to say, I think the Pearl Blue color might be my favorite... or at least a very close second to the Gold Leaf. Maybe because it looks so different depending on the light. It can look super silver blue at times and also a deep pearly blue in lower light. I love the high shine!
There was one main difference between using the Rub n' Buff on the pleather vs. the real leather. On the pleather the Rub n' Buff took longer to dry. It was a little sticky feeling for about 24 hours after the application, but then it was all good. Real leather dries right away.
So what do you think?
Smiles!
