Hey you guys! It's been a while since my last post, so I thought I'd give you a quick update. First off Calico Corner's had a huge fabric sale!! So... I've gone a little fabric crazy, and am pretty much sewing slipcovers for everything I own. Here's a sneak peek of my sectional in progress.
I found a bolt of gold mohair fabric for only $4 a yard! It's a tone on tone graphic print... and I thought it could look cool paired with lots of more traditional fabrics. I also got some gold and platinum velvet fabric, LOVE velvet anything, and lots of other fabrics too, all to be shared soon!! Oh and FUCHSIA too!
I still have lots of pillows to cover and the corner piece to slipcover, but.... almost there!
Slipcovering a sofa like this is actually a lot easier than you might think!! One of these days when I get it all done I'll get a how to posted and you'll see what I mean. : )
