Guess what?... I found a couple new pieces to play with. A vintage Dixie chest and dresser. I like the shape of these, something a little different. It's hard to tell from the picture, but some of the drawers are curved. I'm thinking super high gloss black! Like a black lacquer look. I don't think I have painted anything black in years, other than maybe a frame or two. So it's high time. But not just black... high gloss city!!!
I'm thinking this dresser would make a neat buffet!
And end up with a finish something like this maybe... but glossier, if I can manage.
