So anyway, this is how it went. Me: "So if I want this pillow... where is it?" Them: You have to write down the info off all the tags for the stuff you want, then go downstairs to get it. Me: "WHAAAAAT?' What do you mean I have to write down info to pick out my stuff". Them: "Yeah, that's how it works". Me: "but I didn't bring a pen and pad with me!" I was kind of joking when I said that, but they must hear that a lot because they didn't skip a beat while telling me that it was ok, just use my cell phone to take a picture of the tag. Me: "Ok...fine...., I can do that." Then I get downstairs and that's when the WHATS really started flying. WHAAAAT, what do you mean I have to lug those boxes down off the shelves, WHAAAAT, what do you mean they don't give you bags to pack your purchased items, WHAAAT, what do you mean everyone has to pack up there own items at checkout. I only bought a rug after all that. So I'm standing there in the checkout line, and I'm standing there, and I'm standing there, and I'm stiiiiiiiiilllllllll standing there, because it was taking soooo long for everyone to pack up their purchased items. I could feel myself starting to twitch! Not a real twitch, like I'm hitting myself in the head with my shoulder kind of twitch, but an internal twitch kind of thing. I'm going to blame my feeling of internal twitchyness on the fact that I'm an ARIES and like things to move at a quick pace. Patience is a virtue I have to force myself to have and I think that's where the twitching comes in!~HA So anyway, I spent the next half an hour or more, restraining myself from running up to the checkout area to start helping people pack up their stuff to speed things along. By the time I got out of there I needed Botox to remove that deep set line that had settled in between my eyebrows, from wearing my "I'm so over it face" for too long. YES, NOT love at first sight, and I hadn't been back until just recently! BUT....
A couple of weeks ago I decided to give it another go... and made sure that my "grumpy pants" were at the dry cleaners that day! Thankfully there weren't many people there... and as I walked around... the heavens opened, the light shined down, and I finally fell in love with IKEA. (at least most of it anyway! ~ HA)
So first off... how many of you made it through reading all of that? And for those of you who did... do you feel like you just threw away 5 minutes of you life? Hope not!! lol
Hugs, kisses, and
Smiles!
Sammy,
~Renew Redo!
